A Grasshopper’s Journey :: Scaling the Great Wall

A Grasshopper’s Journey :: Scaling the Great Wall

Many Springs ago while daydreaming out the garden window I spotted thisĀ natural warrior attempting to scale our garden wall. With the intensity of a littleĀ Karate student, he approached his challenge in silent thought and preparation.

Grasshopper Journey

His legs caught my attention.

Strength building in his joints. Poised and ready.

Grasshopper Journey

Starting the ascent. Looks promising.

Grasshopper Journey

A different angle. A different view of the challenge.

Grasshopper Journey

On the humorous side. As in web development, back ends make for beautiful front ends.

Grasshopper Journey

And finally, he has run the good race. Mountain moved.

Grasshopper Journey

Inspiration comes from everywhere, yet nature provides one of the best shows.

“Patience Grasshopper” still comes to mind. Hope he inspired you as much as me.
